You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, or use it in any way that could damage, disable or impair the site or interfere with another user's use of it. 3. Eligibility By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract.
4. Accounts If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Please notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
5. Products and descriptions We make every effort to display our products, colours, materials and measurements as accurately as possible. As leather is a natural material, variations in grain, tone, texture and markings are normal characteristics — not defects. Screen settings may also cause slight differences in how colours appear. Product images are for illustration; minor variations between the image and the item you receive may occur.
6. Pricing All prices are shown in GBP and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Delivery costs, where they apply, are shown separately at checkout. We try to ensure all prices are accurate, but errors can occur. If we discover an error in the price of items you have ordered, we will contact you to ask whether you wish to continue at the correct price or cancel; if we cannot reach you, we may treat the order as cancelled and refund any payment taken.
7. Orders and contract formation Your order is an offer to buy. All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. A binding contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — for example, due to stock availability, a pricing or description error, or suspected fraudulent activity — and will refund any payment already made.
8. Payment We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express and Apple Pay). Payment must be received in full before your order is dispatched. All payments are processed securely by our third-party payment providers; we do not store your full card details.
9. Delivery Delivery timeframes, costs and international shipping are set out in our Delivery Policy. Estimated delivery times are guidelines and not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
10. Cancellations, returns and refunds Your right to cancel, return items and obtain a refund is set out in full in our Returns & Refunds policy, which forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
11. Discount codes and promotions Promotional codes and sale offers are subject to the terms stated at the time, including any eligibility, exclusions and expiry. Codes cannot be combined unless stated, hold no cash value, and may be withdrawn or amended at any time. See our Holiday Sale Policy for sale-specific terms.

Intellectual property All content on this website — including text, product descriptions, images, graphics, logos and design — is owned by or licensed to Leather Makers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or distribute any content without our prior written permission.

Customer reviews and submissions If you submit reviews, photos or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and reproduce it in connection with our business. You confirm the content is your own, accurate, and not unlawful, offensive or infringing. We may remove any submission at our discretion.
14. Third-party links Our site may contain links to third-party websites. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the content or practices of those sites.
15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability We provide the website on an "as is" basis and do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under law — including your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order.
16. Events outside our control We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to courier delays, customs, supply disruption, strikes, or extreme weather.
